July 22nd Auckland, NZ will mark the return of US Heavyweight Hitter Clarence Tillman and US Light-Heavyweight Jameson Bostic to there adoptive country New Zealand!!
Tillman enters stage 2 of his quest to take over the Australasian heavyweights after recently going 3-0 on his first trip downunder the plan is to rack up some more fights between now and Xman starting with his fight against John Argall whos New Zealands professional heavyweight 8-man tournamnet winner July 22nd.
Bostic who has gone 7-0 in his visits to NZ will look to push that closer to double figures when he enters the ring July 22nd. With Japanese Light-Heavyweight Yoshinori Nishizawa recently turning down a fight with him the search is on for someone to step up and take Bostic on. With some recent MMA/Kickboxing sorts calling his name in NZ we may see a cross code battle either way come July 22nd someone is getting ICED!
The undercard will showcase some corporate and amateur boxing and some local grudge matches which should set the house on fire!!
IF your in or around the Auckland area come July 22nd be sure to get your tickets or come dor door sales ABA Stadium, Auckland!!

Hey mate all the best with your fighters.....hey were you in the corner for Siale?
Re: July 22nd The Return of Clarence Tillman and Jameson Bostic!
Houndawg,
Thanks mate appreciate it.
No i wasnt, I was on the Gold Coast watching the fights there after the Mundine show.
Great fight it was though, my man Bostic beat Siale over 6 rounds by UD6. Bostic is a natural Light-Heavy whos been fighting at Cruiser and at this stage of his career its not worth the risk fighting a more natural cruiser like Dom Vea, although i think it could be one we'd win!

I'd love to see Tillman rematch against Leamy Tato. Leamy slipped and wasnt done any justice by the judges I had him winning that fight. I trained with Leamy prior to that fight and he was the goods its just sad that he was ripped off like that.
Re: July 22nd The Return of Clarence Tillman and Jameson Bostic!
Surely Bostic could fight somebody better than Mumtaz. Mumtaz has lost his last ten fights and is an overweight super middle.

Unfortunately theres not a depth of talent in NZ, we'd like fights against Soulan Pownceby but they dont want to fight or Daniel McKinnon it the not to distant future. Right now Bostic is here sparring Cameron for his Ammann fight, so will get in a stay busy fight July 22nd.
Theres a good chance you'll see a Tillman VS Taito rematch, so long as Taito is realistic and doesnt price himself out. Probably end of the year

Auckland is closer to Sydney than Perth is. Maybe you could get some of our cruisers interested?N2 Shape wrote:Unfortunately theres not a depth of talent in NZ, we'd like fights against Soulan Pownceby but they dont want to fight or Daniel McKinnon it the not to distant future. Seems that Clarence's people do not think he is ready to move up.
