With your boxing connections (that i gather some of you have), do you envisage the possibility of some established domestic pros occasionally voicing their own opinions on the forum?

It would be good to hear things from the horse's mouth, and would naturally boost interest and participation in the forum even further.

Another forum once had David Haye on for a brief time giving an account of the Mock fight from his perspective which was great reading.

I just wondered if perhaps any of you thought, from time-to-time obviously, that such things could be arranged? I'm sure at least some of them would be glad to?

They're already on here, Loftgroov. You would be amazed at the number of pros, trainers and managers who frequent this forum. I was talking to a good pro on here last night in fact. He asked me to remain stuhm! But he's fighting on the Derby Storm show later this month.

I'm not surprised, because even without The Forum, it's the place to go if you need to check anyone's records - I've got no idea how boxrec managed to get all those records on there - just amazing really.

To think that just a few years back you had to wait around a year for the RING record book to come out ( usualy late too ) or there was the expensive Fight Fax also..

So dropping in on the Brit forum makes sense..

I know, Loftgroov. It's actually worse not knowing, but he did ask me not to reveal his identity. I'll give you a clue: look at the title fight on the bill...

You've got a 50:50 fight of getting it right. Although I aint got a clue what handle the guy uses. I have my suspicions about who the fighter is, but no idea about anything else.

I like the annoynimity of the net, although at the same time it would show a lot of courage if someone revealed himself and faced up to his critics. I was tempted to use a anonymous handle basically because I am ambitious and think I have the capability to fight for Wales (and I wouldn't like to come here if I was in the WABA's and got flatterned).

However, basically I'll have to change my name by deed pole now. I think the critcisms can be good. But I don't like all the arse licking.
