Raf into Hall Of Fame

Post by Sweet P »

Considering this season has been completed early, I suggest that Raf should be immedaitlly entered into the Hall of Fame.

His record is an outstanding one with 18 wins (14) KO's and 2 losses.

I know there needs to be a second for the entry to be officials. So im assuming one of the other esteemed <Managers will second my vote :OhYes: :OhYes:

Ive compiled a list of fighters he has beaten

Young Griffo X2
Azumah Nelson X2
Sandy Saddler
Salvador Sanchez
Jeff Fenech X2
Willie Pep
Kid Chocolate
JMM
Wilfredo Gomez
Bobby Chacon

That is a fair list of Guys beaten.

He lost in a Split Decision to Arguello
And a TKO on cuts to Vincente Saldivar.

I know the Haters( Sav and Co) will try to deny the truth from being told. But the Fact is. Raf beat all the top guys, And would have beaten Arguello this week in the rematch.

Did Joe Loius get victimised for his Bum of the Week??????

In all Raf fought 5 times against Computer ranked fighters. And 3 of them were in the early weeks when there were rankings at stake, If you can see any top guy missing from Raf's record then tell me who???

Also Bum of the Week was thought of, then didnt happen, If you remeber correctlly . Saldivar took up the challenge that week and actually won the fight on Cuts.

haters? thats harsh. raf is the only one worth mentioning for the HOF this season. i just havent decided if the decision making of his manager should keep him out. i called you out to unify... you ducked. then there was the whole bum of the week. there were many top fighters that he didnt fight.

If i remember correctlly, did you not duck the fight with Raf. Then make me wait until being Mandatory?

No need for a Vote, As the masses will Vote against Raf as they dislike his tremendous Management.

Voting on his ability in the ring is all that is asked for.

Well Raf never beat Arguello.
He never beat Saldivar.
He never beat Pacquaio.
He never beat Armstrong.

And these are all top contenders, and there are some glaring ommissions there.

However the victories over Sanchez, Saddler, Pep, Chocolate and Nelson make it a pretty good record.

But too many CPU fights.

He never beat Pac as Pac lost the week before we were supposed to fight.
Armstrong lost to Jofre, My second tier fighter. But yes they are missing. The result would have been a win for Raf either way.

I think Raf is HOF worthy, but doesn't deserve any special awards... just basic entry.

He get's in the HoF, but like Grimm's fighter it's with an asterisk by his name.

We don't know that... The sim can be a very surprising place.
Look at Barrera beating Chocolate. ANYTHING can happen.

Actually guys, with all due respect, I disagree.

There is not a written rule that someone has to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame after every season. :shame:

Marquez hasn't achieved what Fox or Spinks or even Moore did last season.
He ducked a load of big fights, and fought a cpu opposition to gain a high position...

No, I vote against Marquez.

He does, but it's not an all-encompasing record which is a Hall Of Fame MUST like Fox was...

Hell, the same could be said about both of your fighters Jai, Lewis and Griffo both had good records.

Nowhere near the standard of Marquez's though.

It doesn't take a run like TJF to get in the HOF, because that will be nearly impossible to emulate. Marquez has beaten all the best, mainly by KO, he deserves a mention.

Are you kidding, Raf beat every other decent guy out there, apart from a SD loss to Arguello and a loss by TKO Cuts in a fight he was winning every round in.

He was not. He was only narrowly ahead before Saldivar KOed him.
