I know one shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but on the three occasions I met him, one of which was in a business context, I will merely comment that the planet has not lost one of the good guys..

I agree to an extent. But nice guys don't run sports networks, unfortunately.

Showtime hasn't been the same since.

Spud's been invited to the funeral but wont go on the principle they never showed Clinton Woods.

I'm joking Spud....it was Kel Brook:-)

I once had a discussion about Junior Witter with Jay Larkin, he was very candid and generous with his time.

Wow! This is a shock, I didn't even know he was ill, what a shame, still a young guy as well.

Interviewed Jay years ago, he was extremely generous with his time, forthcoming and very interesting. He was always known as one of boxing's good guys, and everybody seemed to have time for him.

Well you must be one of the only people in the world to think so, Jay was one of the very best human beings on Gods earth. You should keep your opinions to yourself and show some respect at this time.

You are wrong, very wrong indeed.

wasn't larkin FW's american adviser?

suggested a fight between calzaghe and trinidad, after trinidad had lost to jones on a successful PPV show?

after someone dies you don't just have to say the good things about them (see the corrales articles by ring mag, after his death).
