Agreed, I'm finding myself posting on here more often than not. Well done everyone, especially Bennie who I notice is now a moderator which I think is a very good idea.

Yep after a period of feeling a bit fed up about my ESB departure/banning I have to say this place now feels very much like home.

Yes, and BoxRec doesn't read anyone's PMs like another forum I could mention. What a liberty.

Yes, well done .... Definately noticed an increased imput from all of the guys above. Well Done.

Also, Loftgroov ....... Your opinions have been most welcome and your comments have been constuct and intelligent. Maybe not all will agree with you, but NO-ONE can deny you put up a good arguement.

  :P

Really, with all the stick this place had from the current scene board and elsewhere its really nice to here that. Especially coming from posters who's views aren't exclusive to British Boxrec.

It would be interesting to keep track of month-by-month statistics on the number of new members and posts.

Oh, and what I really meant to say was: die, Eastside, die! :D

bollocks - that's a good point.

I guess that it's something thats just likely to occur though. For example I rarely post on 'current scene' as it (not unfairly) seems to have a US bias, and discusses world issues I'm not so interested in.

Hense I generally post on British scene, because I know the posters here and am assured a good debate. Occasionally my post might not necessarily be related to a British boxer/issue.....but I just feel that this British section has more to offer.

Yep this is the first post for me on here. I occasionally post on ESB, but it is here from now on for me.

I find this website much more informative, with good press releases coming daily. Keep up the good work Bennie

Also you can speak your mind on a matter, and it doesnt matter if your opinion doesnt conform with other people.

Keep up the good work Boxrec

hmmm...I've actually thought about this already.
If I have a question about a US fighter, but want the opinions of the British fight fans, I'd post it here. Then again, I might want to know what the septics think of a UK fighter, so may post it on the current scene.
That's what you might see Clazaghe and Naseem threads in the current scene or RJJ, ODH threads here.
Threads belong wherever someone wants the opinion to come from I reckon, not necessarily the topic.

Also, alot of post here still have a British twist on it. Take for example, the Rothmann vs Mormeck thread - to foreign fighters, fighting in South africa. However, I posted it here because I was interested in the people (who I know) in the british scene can discuss. I also, mentioned the fact the my memories of Rothman is his victories over Ashley and Norton - I'm not sure if that would go down to well over at current.

Of course when he discuss RJJ and DLH we always mention how their not in the same league to Barney and Takaloo respectively.

Stu - That's right... RJJ has some way to go before he can hold claims to being in Barney's league!

Indeed, Barney's elusive ringmanship would give RJJ fits.
