Anybody else interested in the intriguing contest for Mormeck's title.
I have been increasing told the Mormeck is the true darkhorse of the cruiserweight devision. There are a lot of people who believe this is the true world #1 (including James Toney). He beat a good (if old) champion in Vigil Hill, however those of us who saw Hill vs Lanlonde know that there still a bounce in old quicksilver's legs and I'm sure would beat our own WBO champion Johnny Nelson.
Rothman is no stranger to these shores having beaten Rob Norton and reitred Crawford Ashley. He was pretty impressive against Ashley, all by that stage I think Crawford's chin was gone.
But so, the cruiserweight devision seems to be going through a bit of a change in guard, with Gomez gone and Jirov beaten. Can Rothmann completely change the scene.
Mormeck vs Rothmann
Yes I'll be keeping a look out for this result, there has been the odd question about Mormecks chin but he ought to be too strong for Rothmann.
I've always felt the French do pretty well title-wise compared to the Brits. I know Sahnoune, Djelti and Chent all lost recently but they've still got a good collection of champions over there.

Jean-Marc is VERY underated.
I have followed him very closely for the last few years now.
I did the MCing at a few of his earlier fights I was very impressed then.
Forget his early couple of loses, he really was just a boy then.
He is still learing and improving and I truly feel he could beat James Toney, who like Roy Jones, would be weak at the weight.
If Mormeck was a Yank he would be regarded as one of the best on the planet....

He's not even necessarily the best in a very weak division let alone one of the best on the planet. I'd favour Wayne Braithwaite and Jirov over Mormeck at this stage.
Toney would simply take him to school.
