North Wales has been a football hotbed sporting wise. Not much comes out in regards boxing (or rugby) but big Andrew Wyn Jones looks the real deal. 6ft 4ins tall and 16 stone - he is a legit heavyweight and is a four nations champion as well as being the Welsh ABA super heavyweight champion for something like five years running.
I know some of you will know him on here - is he turning over after India or is he trying to get on the olympic squad for 2012? The GB selectors have never been kind to Welsh boxing and though he is a touch slow with his handspeed, he is big, strong, fit and relentless (from what I have seen of him) and could do well as a pro I think - does anyone what his future plans are?

Reminds me of Carl Gizzi, a fine old heavyweight from Rhyl.
