apparently once owned by Randy Turpin and inside there is a bar both named after and dedicated to him.
I went up it last week only the wrong side and found a dry ski slope of all things but I had to run back down as it was a school outing and the bus was due to leave. Bit gutted I was.

its ok Llandudno is very nice. check out Conway down the road. classic medieval fishing village with castle.

Yes, been in there. It was pretty dead, but given its location, it's hardly going to have a thriving base of regulars. Some Turpin memorabilia around, a crappy souvenir magazine for sale. Not bad as pubs go, I guess, but hardly worth a pilgrimage unless you're already in the area.

I've been in a few times and it's not a hotel any more but a tourist complex. Turpin used it as his training base. There are some great old photos and posters in the bar, and some great views across to Snowdonia.NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:on top of the great Orme (a cliff).
