Unbeaten Hunter has informed the Boxing Board of his decision and is hoping to be matched with the British and Commonwealth champion Esham Pickering.
Hunter is determined to follow the example of his big mate Kevin Bennett, who won the Commonwealth lightweight belt last weekend.
Let's get it on! Hunter-Pickering would be a fight to grace any arena in the country.
