Is there much point in winning these titles these days? :)

i did say on another thread i couldn't see him facing campillo, a world class opponent for "just" an EBU title and maybe a harder fight than the world title holder he's eyeing up (braehmer).

campillo lost a controversial decision to murat and was never any good until he moved up to light heavyweight.

at 175 he's beaten WBA champ shumenov and outclassed him in a rematch.

all fighters match up differently.

for instance, uzelkov KO'd campillo. and campillo got the better of shumenov. and yet shumenov easily beat uzelkov.

don't think any of this tells us how cleverly would fare v campillo. i think he could do without the matchup.

thats a no brainer to me!

fight a better fighter, for a lesser title. or a lesser fighter for a better title.

if campilo is a world class operator as you say, then cleverly could meet him if/when he's a world champion (which he should if, as you say, breahmer isn't as hard a fight) and if/when campillo makes the step up to world level (which he should if, as you say, he is a world class opponent).
