Old rule: If a champion challenges another division title, he would lose existing title upon entering the ring.
New rule: He will only lose it if he WINS.
About bloody time this was amended. The old rule was introduced in 98/99, which IMO was silly not to mention unfair

it is about time im sick of seeing so many fights for vacant aus titles because of fighters that have challenged for a regional title or something...

Good to hear this, I agree, there have been far too many fights for vacant Australian titles.
