Please allow me to introduce myself

Post by Hollow Man »

Hi there, I go by the name of Hollow man. I am scottish & some of you may remember me from my days posting on the now defunct but great at the time Boxing.com
I am a big fan of boxing forums, & have decided to make boxrec my new home :D
As I read both here & Eastsides boxings british forums daily I know all of the posters quite well & look forward to talking to you all!
I am only posting on boxrec though as that Spud guy that runs Eastside is a prick who does not appreciate his posters

So here I am!

Did you know when Max Baer was in the midst of a fatal heart attack in his hotel room in 1959, he called down to the lobby and asked for a doctor.
"The house doctor?" he was asked.
"No, a people doctor."
The guy brought a smile right to the end.

He was a class act. I am now off up the road to catch the boxing, I think this is going to be a good fight. Im taking Cherifi for a suprise win but my predictions are usually pretty awful :D

Welcome to the Forum, yet another escapee from Eastside, shame about Spud, the site has some pretty good things about it.

So which TV guy are you?

Neither have I got Sky.

I cant bear to imagine my money going to those greedy, whinging, overpaid footballers.

What happened in Magee - Chefiri?

Like I said yesterday, Cherifi was worth a few quid. He got taken apart and retired on his stool at the end of the eighth round! Magee looked very good. Tony Dodson, Dazzo Williams and Jamie Moore all won as well.

You have to question Cherifi's ambition, he's become an opponent now, but it's still a good win. Magee looks to be getting better as his confidence grows, a welcome addition to the top flight in this country to my mind.

Bennie,

Good job it pissed down with rain all day today. I havent left the House.

If I did go out I was going to heed your advice and back Chefiri.

I know you sometimes get the feeling about these ones.

Believe it or not I once put £10 on Freddie Pendleton to beat Hatton!!!

James I read eastside, but have never posted there
That Spud is a brassneck, its obvious he is pullmypiece. I mean who else is allowed to say the stuff pullmypiece does without getting a banning?
That says it all. He tries to take the piss out of his own members

Boxing.com was king, I loved that place! I hope boxrec can go on to be the new boxing.com!

Yes, Spud & myself never got on (leading to me being banned...)

Boxrec has far better debates in my opinion. Welcome to the forum!

Blimey Hollow Man you are one bitter guy! I reckon you're only touchy because good old PMP thinks Medina will KO Scott Harrison
Aside from that, I look forward to reading your posts here. There's a good, friendly bunch on Boxrec.

Thanks for the welcome lightsoot. The reason I sound bitter is because I abhor racism in any shape or form and as a regular reader of Eastside I have to say I am upset by the anti scottish feeling which has maninfested itself on the british board & has been actively encouraged by the admin IMO. The slagging off of the all things scottish has gone way beyond reasonable levels. If I sound bitter its for a reason.
Anyone who knew me on boxing.com will tell you that I am a decent guy, not one for mixing and shitstirring
