The Sun

DERECK CHISORA insists he can beat world heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko with a little help from some boxing greats.
Del Boy takes on IBF and WBO title-holder Klitschko in Mannheim, Germany on December 11 as one of the biggest underdogs of all time.

The London-based star has been given the chance against Klitschko, despite having just 14 professional fights, no amateur pedigree to shout about and no European experience.

But Chisora, who came face to face with Klitschko for the first time in Hamburg yesterday, said: "With me, it's take a bit of Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, bit of Frank Bruno and Lennox Lewis, mix it all up, man, and then you get me... Dereck Chisora.

"With Tyson, I take his head movement, with Holmes it's his jab, with Lennox it's his one-two - oh God that was a dangerous combination.

"From Ali, I have foot movement, from Bruno, the physique."

Chisora, 26, makes sure he can practise his movement by sticking on the music as soon as he gets into a gym.

He said: "Most boxers put on their training gear first when they arrive at the gym. Me? I switch on the music, so I can sway to the rhythm."

Zimbabwe-born Chisora has landed the British and Commonwealth crowns with raw, aggressive power.

But many insist it won't be enough to disturb Klitschko, who is still chasing a date with WBA champion David Haye.

Chisora is positive, though. He insisted: "I've worked hard to get where I am so quickly.

"I like to fight the best because I'm in the fighting game. I'm looking to entertain, I don't want to be fighting bums.

"If you're not fighting the best, you're short-changing yourself. If I'm gonna get beat and, so far I haven't, I want to get beaten by the best."

That FW/K2 promotions are a more professional outfit than Hayemaker promotions maybe?

Or that SKY are doing their usual?

Press conference details:

What: Unveiling of the official Hayemaker app for iPhone

Who: WBA world heavyweight champion David 'The Hayemaker' Haye and DBG World

When: Wednesday, October 20, 2010 (12 p.m. start)

Where: Thames Suite, Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, 18 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TJ, England

From what I gather there won't be many press attending so they'd probably be pleased to see you if you popped along!

Well let's hope they don't cancel it at short notice, reschedule it at even shorter notice, then move it like some have been known to do...

What can you do with the app? Does Wlad send you messages on it and you have to ignore them for as long as you can?

Without giving away too many details, I'm told you can decapitate opponents and gang rape their mums. Sounds pukka!

So after banging on about how the Kiltchkos were bringing down the heavyweight title, and how he was going to clean up the division and bring back the glory days, David Haye spends all his time fighting has beens and flogging iPhone Aps and magazines. What a surprise.

Does anyone else think it's extremely likely that Haye will try to gatecrash the Wlad-Chisora presser on Thursday? Seems to me the sort of stunt that he likes to pull ...

Oh yeah, forgot who was staging it — sorry mate, silly question lol. I think I'll pop along, just on the off chance that Haye puts in an appearance
