I purchased a boxing medal for New York State Boxing, AAU 1937 heavy weight champion. I would love to know who won this contest. Any info would help. The front of medal reads "Metropolitan Association" It is a fabulous medal
I also bought a boxing medal from 1934 that reads, 175 pound sub novice Albert Lavoie Unattached. The medal is beautiful, sterling silver, heavy. Can't find any info on this fellow so he may not have continued to fight.
