Clarification anyone ?

Post by damianhucker1 »

Following Johnsons win over Green last night we now know all 4 of the super 6 semi finalist , with the Froch v Abraham fight deciding the outcome of the draw .

According to posts on current scene , which are correct as far as the original rules state , apparantly if Abraham Knocks out Froch then that immediately becomes the semi final (the other being Ward v Johnson)

Now i was under a different impression , so maybe things got changed , but i thought the winner of Froch/Abraham fought Johnson with the Loser fighting Ward .

Its only a knockout win for Abraham that changes the draw , a points win would put him with Johnson .

Can anyone confirm ?

I think Ward is top regardless of the Froch-AA outcome as Wards record stands at 3-0. If AA were to KO Froch he would be level on PTS with Ward but I guess his 2-1 record would give him 2nd place, I imagine Glen is behind AA as well as he's only had one fight in the Super Six.

So the way I see it, if AA wins we get AA-Glen and Froch-Ward. If Froch wins we get a AA-Froch rematch and Ward-Johnson. I may be wrong, this is confusing stuff
