Does anyone know the story behind the bout determined to be "pre-arranged" between Maxie Rosenbloom and Jim Braddock in Minnesota on Nov. 10, 1931? Did someone take a suspicious dive in the 2nd? I can't find any info about it.

Rosenbloom vs Braddock
Re: Rosenbloom vs Braddock
I've yet to see a single "in motion" frame of Rosenbloom in the ring with anyone. For a guy who was in front of the camera so much, it's flat out amazing that nothing exists of him actually fighting in the ring. I do think he may have fought a fight on Gilettes "Friday night at the fights" on one occasion...did they video tape those fights back then? Or just put them on air with no recording?
Re: Rosenbloom vs Braddock
Rosenbloom's record shows his last bouts to be in 1939, I'm thinking that pre-dates Gillette Cavalcade of Sports. A person would think maybe his 1933 Madison Square Garden championship bout with Mickey Walker would have been filmed, but the illegality of fight films crossing state line may explain the lack of footage.
Re: Rosenbloom vs Braddock
1939 would definitely Pre date that.......I actually got that "idea" in my head because I have heard that on one episode of "The Honeymooners" Ralph and Norton are talking about Maxie fighting on the tube. If that happens to be true then it would have simply been a sentimental nod to a former boxer by someone writing for the Honeymooners I suppose.
