I really cant believe allegedly. I mean what was he thinking about when he arranged Hatton v Tackie for the 13th December. Everybody knows that Ricky Hatton is a dedicated Man City fan and allegedly has arranged the fight with Tackie on the day of the Manchester derby. How will Ricky be able to prepare properly for possibly the biggest fight of his carrer up to date?
Ricky is bound to watch the match somewhere wether it be in his house or at the stadium i do not know. This is bound to have a cycological impact on his performance against Tackie.
I just dont understand Frank

As long as they don't show a rerun of his performance in Superstars, I think he'll be okay.
probably the only decent time the MEN was availble, perhaps warren books the venues months in advance and the football results werent availble then, anyway tackie should be more important then football to hatton, when hatton retitres he can go and see another 100 derbys, Boxing first
I thought it was funny. Especially how he was second in the bike race at the start, and then next thing he was seen walking!
Ricky wasn't in any kind of shape. Judge him on his fights. He doesn't slow in them.
I would guess that allegedly had already booked the date in advance but he should have thought about that before he arranged the arena because it is possibly one of Man C biggest games of the season
I could not understand why Ricky did so badly in the gym tests. But i am not bothered how Ricky did in superstars it is what he does in the ring that counts

Yeah, he was shit at dips, I thought he would be one of the best at that event. Strange...Boxers always do atrociously in these multi athlete contests - Mosley got ravaged in the American equivelent.

I remember how disillusioned I was as a kid when the 70's version of Superstars was running on TV. I could never get my head around the fact that boxers did so badly!! I thought they were Gods.
Hatton will see it somehow. I remeber another fight (think it was Hutchinson) where he saw the fight on a special line, Sky organised for him. How can he fight not seeing the match, impossible, he will see it. Obviously he would like to be there but that's a sacrifice he'll have to make.
ps welcome to the forum Hitman (My mate Colin :) )
Man city Played Man U the night of his fight with Freddie Pendleton, I remember because I went to see it, and Manchester city centre was like Dodge, as in, let's get the fornicate out of...

Thing is, when my team lose, I don't feel myself for the rest of the day. If City lose, I hope that doesn't effect Hattons focus for the evening's proceedings.

True, you do get a bit of a downer but surely he'll be able to lift himself for his fight.
He was on SoccerAM (Ricky) and this question was brought up...He said it was the only available date for the MEN and didn't seemed fazed by it at all.

This is exactly what I was saying. When my team play badly (quite often) I am not myself for the rest of the day. There is no way on this earth that Ricky will sacrafice that derby match for this fight (although he probably should do). I just think fingers crossed for City whoever you support
