Anyone know any news of Robin Reid's build up to his massive fight. This is a huge fight for Britain and while Robin is not my favourite fighter I'd love to see him do it.
Surpised this fight is not being discussed much. Its for the WBA AND IBF titles!!!

yeah i'm really looking forward to this one. No doubt Reid will be in tip top condition, he's a fitness fanatic.
He's got a chance for sure, he's talking about being aggressive and not letting Ottke using the ring, easier said than done.
However think back to the Byron Mitchell fight, when in the 12th the american wnet for it, and rocked Ottke. The pressure has to be like this from an early stage.
Reid has strength and power, 2 of Ottke's weaknesses. However Ottke's fast hands and clever footwork may make Reid look a little robotic.
My head tells me Ottke will win, but it may be close, i really hope Reid can pull it off.

ROBIN REID intends to be posing with major world title belts on Saturday week - which is more than he wears in front of the camera on some of his assignments.
It still rankles with the super- middleweight hunk from Runcorn that he has been pushed out of the big picture by his old rival Joe Calzaghe.
But Reid has found another outlet for his highly acclaimed natural talents - on the pages of adult magazines.
He admits his extra-curricular activity has made him the butt of jokes at Brian Hughes's gym in Moston, Manchester.
But Reid, who has been taking real blows for 24 of his 32 years, reckons he will have the last laugh.
He said: "Brian makes jokes about it, but I can put up with that. He understands as well as anyone a boxing career doesn't last forever and you have to take opportunities in life. It's paying bills, so why not?
"It was just another option that opened to me. It's glamour modelling, really. A lot of it's near the knuckle but that has its plusses.
"People ask me what I'm doing it for, but I don't see it as dirty or disgusting because if people didn't look at it there would be no market for it.
"Just because I do this doesn't make me any less a person. I still think I'm clean cut. Some of the pictures I've done are quite tasteful.
"I tell people I'm a man of many talents. I wouldn't want to turn down the offer, get to 40 and wish I'd tried it."
Reid, who faces the undefeated German Sven Ottke for the WBA and IBF titles in Nuremberg on December 13, believes his style of self-promotion is a winner with women fans.
He said: "Boxing always comes first. The modelling never gets in the way. If anything, it complements the boxing because there are lots of lady fans out there.
"No disrespect to my sport, but there are a lot of boxers who fit the stereotype. It's a tough game and you get boxers with flat noses and all the rest of it.
"I think if there are lady fans who want to see a well-toned boxer, without a lot of marks and not bashed up, why not? There's a market there, a gap to be filled. If it helps put bums on seats it's got to be worth it. That's what it's about."
The model-pro has always been an opportunist. When a bungling burglar dropped through the gym roof, Reid and stable-mate Michael Gomez made him regret it.
But Reid and his colleagues realised they needed an effective 24-hour security system. Now they are sponsored by Bridgewater Security and he drives one of their cars.
Even more lucrative opportunities beckon if Reid, a former WBC champion and reigning WBF title holder, beats Ottke.
He will be in a position to earn serious money and perhaps get the chance to avenge his controversial defeat by Calzaghe almost six years ago.
Reid added: "I'm confident I can win these titles, which are up there with the WBC, and that will put me up there with the greats of British boxing, the Benns and Eubanks.
"There will be two or three defences, but the one I really want is Calzaghe. Don't get me wrong, he's a great champion - he's made 13 defences of his WBO title - but I'm looking for a rematch to put the record straight.
"I've watched that first fight against him on tape three times and no matter which way I look at it, I still think I won it by two clear rounds.
"I proved in that fight that I'm there to be taken seriously and he knows that. I'm not some Mickey Mouse fighter who has never won anything. I'm not just a notch on somebody's belt."
