What do Sky gain from taking it off PPV though? Surely it's better to get 10,000 idiots paying £15 a pop than none at all? We all know this PPV is going to flop badly, but something is better than nothing. I know it's not his fault, but, with his track record, Wazza is going to struggle desperately to get more PPV dates for his Magnificent Two beyond this w/end.

the afolabi fight is off too. Im not paying for this one out of principle - i didnt pay for the magnificent 7 either, and i was a fool to pay for the khan v salita and the haye v harrison fight too.

shorts mismatched fights with sod all under card - or domestic level fighters on a card together is now the ppv norm.

Khan although i like watching the guy box is not PPV yet.

If it was £7.50 fair enough but why should i pay a sky sports subscription and then a £15 premium to watch a britsh fighter, its not a super fight. Hatton v PBF fair enough but khan v maidana sorry but no.

The original bill was a worth the money but take a heavyweight title fight and 3 other decent fights out of the bill and its not worth it at all.

Sky's idea of a non-PPV bill is Denton Vassell v Lee Purdy. On that basis, everything does.

Fair points, and I see what you mean, but personnally, I can't get interested in fights like Brooks, Macklin's and Celverleys because it's so obviously they will win.

Yes, and the Gr8 Britain link has been taken off the Sky Sports website.

But Khan is routinely PPV these days so I'd be surprised if this reverts to standard Sky.

Khan v Salita was on at a decent hour at least and still sold badly. It was also given the big sell by Sky and the press whereas the Maidana fight has pretty much flown under the radar.

From Sky's point of view people will have already been reluctant to buy PPV after the Haye v Harrison fight, how many people are really going to want to shell out £15 for Smith v Degale (good domestic fight that it is) and a Khan defence at stupid o'clock in the morning? Khan is still to sell a PPV well on his own and sky's hyping of the evening has been very much focused on Chisora's fight. Shit as it may have been it was still a Brit fighting the guy pretty much universally reckoned to be the best heavyweight on the planet.

I can't see it happening, but it would make sense to half the cost. It would give Degale more coverage instead of his career toughest fight and first real test being only watched by hardcore fans. And the same for Smith if he wins.

Seeing as they just put PPV events on the Sky monthly bill anyway, surely they could reduce this, which'll work all round, as people who have already paid will then not be charged full whack as it doesn't go on until the bill the month after.

I'd pay a tenner for this, but not 15 quid. Too much for what's on offer.

It is so easy for SKY to re-imburse those who have already paid and also to put out the show without BOX OFFICE. Its nothing more than pressing a few buttons.
As I said 2 days ago ,this whole night of boxing was not PPV worthy . It was being greedy and setting a trend .
SKY now have major problems .
But the problems have been brought on by themselves . GREED , GREED , GREED !!!
