Bomber tonight
After Tony's last performance(a win by the way!) a lot of people on here seem to get geat pleasure out of slagging him off.As he is possibly one of the most open and honest of the Pro's who post on here,i would like to wish him luck from the vast majority of the forum. No arse licking from me,would just like to see "one of our own" doing well and hope we dont lose him because of a few clowns.Good luck to Big Larry and Smigga too, both are a credit to Boxrec.

Good post Mickey. I'd love to see the 3 forumers come away with a W tonight.
I can't wait for this now.

I for one have utmost respect for ANY fighter who climb through the ropes (believe it or not I have had a few fights myself
D ) and will defend them to the hilt. You still get good and bad people in the sport as you do in any walk of life, Tony is one of the good guys and outside the ring is a true gent. I have had the missfortune of meeting him, I say missfortune as he KO'd a fighter I was very closely linked with
After the fight he came over to the lad and gave him a huge lift by saying it was one of the hardest fights he had had to date and it meant a lot to a guy who had sufferd his first defeat as a pro. All that said people do have a right to their own opinion and just because Tony posts on here (remember he will be a boxing fan long after he laces up his pro gloves and will continue to have a bit of banter on forums such as this) he should not have a load of yes men saying what he wants to hear, but he DOES deserve respect, having a clown come on her calling him Bellend and the like is bloody ridiculous and the member should be made to apologise in the open forum or be banned IMHO.
I wish Tony all the best for tonight and if I do go I will say hello but I have had a bet on Ovill as the odds were too good to miss judging Tony on his last performance (if he ignores me again that is his perogative
) I have dissagreed with some of his comments but I believe he has always been open and honest and given HIS HONEST OPINION on topics. If he does leave the forum (which I do not think he will) it will be a loss as his banter, wit, inside knowledge and opinion will be missed.

Re: Bomber tonight
good post! i lost loadsa dosh betting on bellew to win by stoppage in the last fight. But thats the name of the game a win is a win and the lessons he learnt from that fight will benefit him far more than a quick ko win would have. He knows he can blast people out but now he knows he needs to have a plan B and not just rely on his power to get the job done, we all know the potential Bomber has.mickey1975 wrote:After Tony's last performance(a win by the way!) a lot of people on here seem to get geat pleasure out of slagging him off.As he is possibly one of the most open and honest of the Pro's who post on here,i would like to wish him luck from the vast majority of the forum. No arse licking from me,would just like to see "one of our own" doing well and hope we dont lose him because of a few clowns.Good luck to Big Larry and Smigga too, both are a credit to Boxrec.
Good luck to Tony, smith - and to warmachine if his opponent hasnt pulled out.
Re: Bomber tonight
both are tight at the weight :!: i think when ovil hit's bellew on the head he'll hurt him & it will make bellew go all out. i honestly see some yo yoing going on in this bout it's gonna be exciting & hopefully bellew does it & class comes through in this battle.

Re: Bomber tonight
Despite the lineup changes an havin to fork out 15 notes I'm still well excited about non stop boxing on my tv tonight!
You cant not love bomber, he's super confident and brash but still a decent lad, looking forward to him finding his KO form again tonight!
Good luck smigga and Larry too!

Re: Bomber tonight
Tony Bellew can shine here against a very good and game lad. He has the height and strength in his jab to set the punches up without going mad for it with the crowd behind him; he doesn't wan't to get caught square on or walking in though. Ovill has natural power and is a very good finisher, he doesn't seem a nervy boxer either; he's always seemed composed. This should be good for the fans; hope it is.
Re: Bomber tonight
Best of luck to the 3 Boxrec Pro's in action tonight. Would love to see Smith do the business.

Best of luck Bomber
Re: Bomber tonight
I have not been Bomber's biggest fan, especially after seeing the clobber he was wearing on Sky a few weeks ago, but I hope you do well, mate. Go and bang him out, lad.

Re: Bomber tonight
I have the utmost respect for Tony...for not blowing his last opponent out of the water (I bet on that over
). Good luck tonight Bomber!
Re: Bomber tonight
I wonder if Boxrec will get a mention...
