Boxing Books chronologically

If I may.

I recently picked up Egan's Boxiana, so am going to start reading it soon.

(+ there's also the Frank Louis Dowling - Fistiana; or the Oracle of the Ring (1841 edition) and William Oxberry - Pancratia, or a History of Pugilism (1812) - thanks to Senya13 for the links to the PDF's from a cpl of years back)

I think I'll stick to Boxiana for now tho'.

I plan on reading Isenberg's John L Sullivan book after Boxiana, unless there's a recommendation inbetween, and then wish to read the key books chronologically.

Does anyone have, or know of, or can suggest, a chronological order of key boxing books throughout time? I've already Liebling but may read him again after the above 2, or others if suggested.

Might as well replace Boxiana with three volumes of Pugilistica, unless you are into Egan's fancy language (although it's application to pugilism wasn't even invented by Egan, originally).

Cheers Senya, I do like Egan's prose stlye, + he's always referred to by Liebling etc. so thought it the best starting point.

Pugilistica does look good tho' and are available on print on demand.
