Dick Beland fly/light wieght bronze medalist about 1918.

Dick Beland was my Grandfather and he won a bronze at boxing fly/light weight level at an Olympics. I think it was around 1918 but I have no information. He was from South Africa and he died in 1966 and that is all I know. I wondered whether anyone had any fruther information?
