FYI Manchesters 2008 Olympian & 2007 World Bronze medalist Joe Murray won last night on the Foster undercard against Daniel Kodjo Sassou over 8 rds 80-71.
Joe had Daniel down in the 3rd round who survived to the bell.
Daniel took a great left hook to the body from Joe at end of 5th only for the bell to ring which then had Daniel go down on his knee for a while but it was no count as the bell had ended the rd.
It was a good fight Daniel had some success as well in the fight and it was a good focused performance from joe who goes to 10-0 now

Joe seems to have been the forgotten man of the Olympics but I have been so impressed with him, SBW is one hell of a division atm but I can see Murray going all the way to the top another good win last night

Best performance of young Joe's career IMO.
Has sometimes been over eager and let vocal support get him a bit too hyped. Can be prone to over reaching and leaving himself a bit open but he seems to be improving every fight and did a great job on a good fighter last night.
Seems to be in a good place mentally too so lets hope he realises his ambition.

Shame Sky didn't show any of this, like the way Joe is quietly goin on, improving each fight.
