Since the induction of Rule 5 and Rule 6.

Rule 5:

5. A change to the ranking system - Since the Sim will not remove the champions of other belts from their sanctioning body rankings, I will manually do so to avoid having current belt holders appearing in other belt rankings. For example, the IBF champion will never appear in the rankings of the WBC. I will simply remove that fighter, and bump everyone else up. This will also allow a greater selection of opponents for belt holders.

This rule has been a godsend to this Sim. The choice of opponents is varied, and while the top fighters are near the summit, the selection of opponents has been widened to make more exciting challenges of the World Champions.

Rule 6:

6. Unifications fights - Belt holders will not be allowed to unify until they have made 3 succesful defenses or more of their own belt. Draws count as a succesful defense too.

And because of this rule stopping the immediate unification fights, there have been many different champs.

And I will finish off this notice with a stat:

As of the results of Week 17, there have been 18 different World Champions.
Opportunities have been spread around and this canonly be a good thing.

Agreed, it has mixed things up a bit. Every title changed hands this week!

I think the best thing that can be said if that opportunities are being spread around and, in my opinion, that's all any Manager can really ask for in this place.
