Wembley bill...things have changed already

Post by bennie »

Just been informed that Skelton-Francis is no longer on the same Wembley Conference bill as Williams-Sprott on January 24. Apparently, Skelton will be defending his English heavyweight title against Julius at York Hall (no date known as yet). That's a blow.
The WBC international heavyweight title fight between Dennis Bakhtov and Keith Long is on at Wembley, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one happening till the very first bell rings and Keith Long steps out of his corner.

To be honest Bahktov v Long is probably a better fight than Skelton v Francis. Neither will be coming to survive in that one. No disrespect to Julius.

agree dan, as a fight Bahktov v Long is a better one. but when it comes to assesing Skelton a lot of people are desperate for Francis v Skelton.

Anyway atleast its an easier journey home for us ;-)
