Apology to the Queensland ANBF
Gentleman, during the month of January, I came in here to the Boxrec forum, and replied to a baited thread of one particular trouble maker, who is not an ANBF Member. A thread I simply should have ignored.
In this reply, I made reference to certain members of the Queensland branch of the ANBF, which were not only erroneous, but because they were said in the heat of the moment, the said statements were not thought through, and hurtful to the said members.
I therefore, withdraw the said statements, and offer an unreserved and sincere public apology to the Branch and the said Members. I make this apology simply because what i said was inaccurate and misleading. Even though it was said in anger, and in the heat of the moment, it still does not justify making such a statement.
At the request of the ANBF, the governing body of professional boxing in Qld. I attended their last monthly meeting on February 22nd and fully explained my reasons for making such a statement, however after it was read out to me again, I agreed, my statements were inaccurate.
I then apologised to the branch, and told them how and why, I came to make this error in judgement. My apology was accepted, a vote taken, and my membership of 20 years standing was re-instated.
Finally, I am thankful this issue has now been resolved, and I look forward to an amicable and respectful relationship with the Queensland branch in the future.
Sincerely,
Brad Vocale
