Carlos De Leon

A bit before my time, but how good was this guy? He was a four time cruiserweight champ, but it looks like the division was pretty weak at the time.

How good was he?

He was talented and slick but a bit lazy and he was outhustled a couple of times. He made Holyfield look pretty average in his biggest fight at crusierweight but couldn't keep up the pace and Holyfield eventually got to him.

His lack of training between fights caused him to lose title 4 times.

Very talented fighter. Don King had Larry Holmes (Heavy) and Spinks (Lightheavy) also holding WBC titles at the time and held DeLeon at cruiserweght so King can control the fledging division.
