Vic Darchynian v Donaire 2 - One step closer

Post by dan h »

I see Donaire has left top rank and signed a multi year deal with Golden Boy.

Top Rank and Gary Shaw don't work well together which is apparently the reason no rematch was done. Now with Golden Boy this could change everything.

I think if Vic can out 2-3 good wins together this rematch will happen.

Why Donaire is getting better. Vic hasn't changed at all since the first. Donaire wins this easier than the first fight imo.

Vic united the Super Flyweight division and had two narrow losses at bantamweight.

yes but that happens every week apparently.

seriously, i think vic is massively underrated sometimes. and i'd prefer to see more of donaire against more tough opponents than just one or two here and there before i get carried away with the hype.

nonito has done good, but remember that vic has tried to fight the best available since their fight, something that donaire hasn't. if donaire continues to fight the best available and wins, then i'll be first to praise him for it. but he needs to do more to be the real deal imo. beating montiel is the best place to start though yes.
