Re: football and boxing
Of course you would. How dare anyone critique a Notre Dame football player.S.FERRAND wrote: I have seen him in both sports and I would be proud to have him on my team or in my corner.
What relevance does that have on the original post?S.FERRAND wrote: ...question for any other posters giving a reply to this post.
Did you play football/
Did you ever box.

The fact is Tommy Z had a disappointing introduction to college football and barely made the scout team. He was a major flop and if you do the research, you can see the consensus in the media that he did not live up to the expectations of being the most highly touted incoming freshman recruit in the entire U.S. There's no sugar coating it so whining that my comments are unworthy because they were made by someone who has never played football at notre dame or wherever is a sad sack of beans.
Sorry if you lads can't handle that. All I said was he's better off as a boxer right now which holds true. Not that he won't potentially develop into a college football player that can hold his own, it's just that right now things are grim for him in that regard. His own coaches called him soft.
If it makes a difference, I do box and played high school football a long time ago but honestly, who gives a flying flapjack.
