I feel robbed!

I've been looking forward for weeks for tonights big vegas bill.

morales vs maidana. big fight
guerrero vs katsidis. big fight
ishida vs kirkland. decent fight
nate campbell vs danny garcia decent fight.

but the highlight of the bill for me was pauli malignaggi getting torn apart by miguel cotto. i couldn't understand why a bigger deal wasn't being made of this match up.
then i had a look at the line up on the schedule section of boxrec today and realised malignaggi is fighting JOSE miguel cotto...... are you kidding me? :witzend:

suppose it's still a big fight. jose miguel cotto, despite being strangely ranked 110 in the welterweight division by boxrec, is no bum, he's fought for a couple titles and has only ever lost to juan diaz and saul alvarez. no disgrace i suppose. but i thought i was going to be watching living legend miguel cotto. one of my favourite fighters.

why would miguel cotto be on the undercard of a golden boy promotions event?

It's JOSE Miguel Cotto not Miguel Angel Cotto.

I think you guys are confused. This is not the Cotto that fought Malignaggi before, not the one we all know who fought Pacman, Margarito etc. It's his lesser known brother.

Miguel Cotto already fought Malignaggi a few years ago you clown. If he's really one of your favourite fighters you should know that. Plus the fact that he only fought Mayorga a few weeks ago.

regards the fight, good effort by malignaggi and the card was a thoroughly entertaining nights veiwing. even if it did lack miguel cotto! :P
