Skelton would be huge in the states.

I was discussing a European boxers on another forum and I thought I'd bring up Skelton as a prospect.

Fair play, one of the posters did some research and came back saying "he won't come to much" obviously statistically he is an old man with only just over a years experience.

Now, this poster is quite knowledgable and loves the heavyweights, he looks out for the prospects. So far he very big on Harrison.

However, the rest of the brit guys he's only seen a few times. Herbie getting KO'd by Bowe and Klitchko, Williams beating Robinson but getting KO'd by Sam and Harrison's us bouts.

Do you know the British Heavyweight he was most impress with barring Harrison..... John McDermmot. Apparently, McDermmot has been shown a few times of Shobox and has been fairly well recieved (even his defeat).

It got me think, Skelton needs to be on Shobox, if McDermmot is considered Okay then what would the yanks think of Matt.

Well if he was impressed with Big John McD last time out he's obviously not of sound mind!

To be brutaly honest, if Skelton were fighting in the USA, I really think he'd be toiling in obscurity - fighting in the backwoods and being thrown in deep every now and then. Big strong heavyweights are a dime a dozen over there.

Now if you look like Joe Mesi on the other hand......
