McCullough stays in Vegas...

Post by bennie »

Rumours that Wayne McCullough would be launching his comeback in this country in the New Year are now looking unlikely. allegedly severed his relationship with the Belfast man, citing that he wants him to retire, and Wayne has apparently decided to stay in Vegas and launch his comeback out of there.

I don't think there should be a comeback, McCullough has always been a nearly man in my opinion, he was taken to school by a masterful Scott Harrison and had previously always failed at the highest level as shown against Hamed, Zaragoza and Morales. He has nothing left for me, retire Wayne.

if only mccullough had power my god the mind boggles  i think there's some fights out there for him at super bantam he should forget feather cos he simply isn't one.

a fight with paulie ayala would be a good idea i think there's another big fight out there for mccullough but after that yeah he should retire.

There is big fights out there for him, but he wont win any of them.

If he is financialy secure then he should retire.

Yes Hitman i think that if he is going to continue then a fight with someone like Ayala is a possibility be it at Super Bantamweight or Featherweight. Both are hard workers with good chins and Ayala doesn't really have the power to hurt McCullough a great deal so it would be a decent fight. However i would not like to see Wayne go in with someone along the lines of Pacquiao or Marquez because good chin or not i could well see him getting stopped.

If McCullough had power, then he probably wouldn't have had a GREAT chin as the two don't often go well together.
