Boxing doesn't come much better than this! Hull is back on the boxing map.
The British Masters Lightweight Title fight between Tommy Coyle (Hull) and Mark McCollough (Buckinghamshire) was the highlight of a superb evening's boxing.
V.I.P. Promotions in association with Stevie Smith Boxing presented a night of first class entertainment. Hull City Hall was full of enthusiastic fight fans, and they all left buzzing at the end of a night that exceeded all expectations.
Stevie Smith is a trainer worth watching for the future. All his boxers won their bouts, with Tommy Coyle taking the British Masters Lightweight Title from Mark McCollough, and maintaining his unbeaten record.
Hopefully future boxing from Hull will be televised, for those who cannot make it to the ring-side!
