Liam ''beefy'' smith

Post by chiggsy »

Anyone know when he's next out?
Was thinking he might be injured or having contract trouble with warren as he hasn't boxed since the december show in the echo.

I expect he will probably be next out on the July show in Liverpool. Like most Warren fighters prospects especially he suffers from a lack of activity because of so few tv dates on offer.

I was at the echo arena for liams last fight and was impressed with him.
Doesn't get anything like the same press coverage or exposure as paul or stephen.
Maybe sexy eddie could offer him a better deal when his current deal with warren runs out.

ello people, i have injured my hand sparring, had to have a operation by hand specialist mike hayton, dont think it will be ready for the july bill, i was meant to fight for central area welterweight title i think. as for the carruthers, i was on holliday an got back an took the fight with 8 days notice having to shift a lot ov weight to make lightmiddle(which isnt my natural weight) so, no fault ov my own really, id beat him easy fit but a rematch is pointless as iv stated im a welterweight, hes a lightmiddle/middle, thats boxing for ya. thanks for askin people, will keep use updated on any news.

Cheers for the update Liam why did you have to take the fight on such short notice? I thought as a young prospect with a top am pedigree dates would be being set aside for you? I hope your hand heals quickly you are young and you have plenty of time to fulfill your potential so no rush but must be frustrating. :TU:
