Ones a joke, the other is too late

2 fights show how differcult it is to ref a fight, Howard Foster has come in for alot of stick for his stoppage of Maxwell last night, then you have Steve Smoger getting it wrong with Jones Jnr coming in too late.

Its such a fine line for these refs, one second or punch to late and the boxer can get badly KO'd.

I haven't been on Boxrec for 8 weeks or so....I read this and nearly asked in all innocence/ ignorance if Roy had been out and KO'd again.....I half expected you were on about his Green fight or the like..

.....and then I've just gone on the other thread and read all about his little Moscow adventure...

well I'll say on here what I said there....at the end of the day it's his life, he's a big boy (although you could say he's a bastard for putting his family through it still at his age). You won't get any of this boo hoo hoo bollocks from me. Roy will reach the same verdict as everybody else in his own sweet time, and hopefully while he still has a few faculties left up top. Until that time he's still "Roy Jones" the name and he'll carry on saying eff you all and do it his way. If some people don't like it, form a support group and comfort each other or something.... ;;-)

ps.... sorry for posting that on what is a thread about Reffing and not Roy!! What you state is a plain, simple truth, which probably explains why it hasn't really generated opinion etc..
