DeGale has yes men around him whereas Booth/Groves have got their feet right on the ground and can break it down into minute detail to try and iron out their own faults and work on their opponents flaws. I just don't see that in DeGale's camp or in himself.

I wouldnt throw insults at Jim McDonnell, just a few home truths. His conduct in the lead up to this fight and then his subsequent crying and pleading and grovelling for a rematch is sickening.

If you are a trainer of a fighter who has the potential to go far you must always have a Plan A, B and C and more if necessary when the going gets tough, all McDonnell did was shout and get excitable and was totally clueless concerning his fighters plan to win the contest.

McDonnell in regards to the Groves v Degale fight was in my view totally incompetent!!!!!!!!
