Here is some information about the Ali-Mercado Boxing exhibition that took place at the Santa Maria Bullring in Bogota Colombia.
It was to benefit the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Rehabilitation Institute in Warm Springs Georgia.

Why don't you get in touch with some of the boxing magazines and see if they want to interview or do a feature on him? I'd love to hear him tell his story. The editor of Boxing Monthly, Glyn Leach, posts regularly on the British forum.

Karla, do you have his fight with Trevor Berbick on tape? Can you put it on youtube? Nobody other than Mike Tyson found a way to stop Berbick, and only your old man ever laid him out for the count.

wait i never put them up on youtube because alot of those fights you have to find them!!! most have been lost in time* over the years Ive been trying to put them all together. three years ago i found a dude that had some of his old fights, in where some he wins and some he loses* I had them made into a dvd* thats what i gave my pops* WOULD LOVE IT IF HIS FANS WOULD TRY TO HELP ME FIND THEM ALL** LETS DIG THEM UP MAN!!!!

its funny you say that because i remember my dad telling me that at one point Don King was gonna have Tyson and my pops fight* he said mike would talk so much shit on him and that all my pops wanted todo was shut-him-up* but in the ring* by way of KO*
