been looking at the links to the fight and if foster thought the ropes had stopped Doran from touching down then that is not a standing count its a legit knock down

If you watch it closely mate Doran hadnt gone near the ropes when the count ws called he fell into them after action had been stopped.
I thought this and had a close look.

AFAIK, if the ropes stop a fighter who otherwise would have been knocked down, it is indeed classed as a knockdown...and a count administered.
