pockterocket and Wayne fans, I managed to contact the Ayala's but unfortunately they haven't heard from Wayne McCullough, and are suprised to learn he is wanting that fight.
Paulie won't be fighting McCullough anytime soon. His next fight will be in March/April time and the opponent should be confirmed by the end of the week. The guy HBO want is/was very good.

I still want to see Ayalia vs Pacquiao, for me Ayalia covered himself in glory against Morales (who is a huge Feather) I think Morales' sheer size got to him, and was the difference. However, one thing Pacquiao isn't is a physically massive featherweight. Pacquiao never took the mantle off Ayalia as #1 Super Bantam, as Ayalia seem to suggest that his fight with Morales was a one-off and he'd be moving back down.
So why not find out who was the best 122 pounder, even if its at 126 pounds. The loser could always go bact to 122 and claim the #1 position.
Morales came close to stopping him in the last, but I believe he didn't hold back on Ayalia. Morales is a very macho character, and I think respect often goes out of the window when it comes fight time. He did what he had to do to win, he didn't let up at all. To be perfectly honest, I think Morales could've stopped him but it looked more like he wanted to test his boxing skills against a guy he has so much respect for.
Well I don't mean to show any disrespect to Ayala, I'm not suggesting he was carried by Morales, but it wasn't an aggressive display. I think he hurt Ayala with a flurry at the end of the fourth? Think it was the fourth, anyway...point is I just think Morales had his boxing head on that night, maybe he didn't feel threatened enough to be aggressive, but I think he knew in there he could've stopped him if he'd wanted.
