expensive Williams v Sprott

i guess its a pretty luxurious venue, but £35 for the cheapest tickets seems a lot of money. Tickets normally start at £20 or £25...

i am sure frank could offer better value for money

Well, I don't think it's too much for a fight like that. Won't be seeing much for 35 quid however.

Yeah it is expensive £100 ringside as well.

Although it is the British Title. Which makes a change from WBU WBF shit.

It is pricey, but there's no doubt it's a good main event and a good bill. Keith Long fighting Dennis Bakhtov for the WBC international title should be a good scrap.

£35 ain't too cheap but overall, there's not too many bad seats at the Conference centre.

The Wembley Conference center is a decent venue for boxing as as stated, there aren't too many bad seats due to its intimacy.

First time I went there I was shocked/pi55ed off however - £10 to park your car, thats a disgrace.
It all adds up. Would like to get down for Williams - Sprott3, I was there for the legendary WilliamsvPotter and loved it....If Macklin is on the bill I may well make the trip.

Sports Network tickets have started at £25 for years now, I don't begrudge them a bit of an increase in a smaller venue like the WCC. All you Londoners are rich anyway, it costs about £35 for a portion of cod and chips down there, so for an evenings boxing it's reasonable enough.

A tenner to park your car's a bit harsh mind you. Take some false plates and a stihl saw with you 'TerribleTerry' and park on some double yellows, if you get clamped cut it off with the saw and be on your merry way back to the Midlands, no problem!

Last time I was down there we were running really late and only just made it for the main event.
We stalled the lad who wanted the parking money with some bs about how our wallet/jackets were in the hall with our mates and parked on the steps of the conference centre, with our hazzard lights on, not far from FW's Roller!!

Went in, watched Hatton butcher Justin Roswell or whoever it was and strolled out chuffed to having got one over the cockneys... shows you not all Brummies are as thick as they sound!

Not if you are on the steps of the Conference centre and not double yellows

Having said that, this little 'triumph for the little guy' was more then outwayed by having our cars broken into and stereos nicked when a convoy of tardy Brummies parked up near the MEN.

Some creative criminals from Salford had set up a fake car park in an industrial estate and in our haste to get to the fights we payed em £5 a pop to beak into our cars. Nice.

Been back to Manchester plenty since and if I ever come across the tossers involved I swear I will run em over.

Worst part was the official car park only charges £3.50!! Oh well, you live and learn.
