frankie always gets screwed over when it comes to the big shows
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
Frankie isn't really fighting at the level as others though so i can understand it. I know there is needle between the 2, but this is a poor fightdiggler wrote:Josh1111 wrote:Spot on, cheers mate.

Would still like to watch it though. There is a chance they will show inbetween fights, especially if it doesn't last long.Josh1111 wrote:Frankie isn't really fighting at the level as others though so i can understand it. It'll be no less one sided that Jefferies v Quigleystevek3lly wrote:Would still like to watch it though. I wanted to go, but got let down by a mate who got curly fingered off the wife. He is so under the thimb its embarrassing.diggler wrote:ill be there live so ill get to see it, i agree frankie should be fighting better opposition but he should be getting more exposure

nothing worse than a whipped friend
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
haha I'm the friend in question. It has nothing to do with the wife for once. Admittedly she generally wear's the trousers in my house but on this occasion, nothing to do with her. I just have a prior engagementdiggler wrote:stevek3lly wrote:I wanted to go, but got let down by a mate who got curly fingered off the wife. Id like to see all fights live on sky,but no way should Gavin-Woodhouse be shown live instead of one of the other 3 fights...diggler wrote:ill be there live so ill get to see it, i agree frankie should be fighting better opposition but he should be getting more exposure
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
advertised it on ringside last night as one of the main 4 fights, dont care if its live or not as long as they show it all at some stage !
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
Surely if the other 3 fights go all 12 rounds they wont have time?jessi wrote:advertised it on ringside last night as one of the main 4 fights, dont care if its live or not as long as they show it all at some stage !

its suppose to be for 3 hours but can go longer if need be !Josh1111 wrote:Surely if the other 3 fights go all 12 rounds they wont have time?jessi wrote:advertised it on ringside last night as one of the main 4 fights, dont care if its live or not as long as they show it all at some stage !

Very disappointed that they are not showing Gavin v Woodhouse. Been looking forward to it since it was first announced last year, and I expect Woodhouse to have a good go.
If these four fights remain, it has the makings of the best card this year, for me.
Don't suppose there's any way I can get the undercard on the radio??, or FWTV?? (I'll have to switch the volume down though - Colin Hart normally does their stuff).

There is nothing 'normal' about Curtis boxing at 10st! He drains as much as Frankie. He was obviously just better at it.Cardiff-Lad1 wrote:If it was at the weight originally agreed then there might have been a chance but with Curtis now giving away 7lbs on his 'normal' fighting weight you have to feel for him. He was always up against it anyway but even more so now :(Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Id like to see all fights live on sky,but no way should Gavin-Woodhouse be shown live instead of one of the other 3 fights...diggler wrote:ill be there live so ill get to see it, i agree frankie should be fighting better opposition but he should be getting more exposure
This is turning out to be a fantastic show on paper though and really wish i was going up but sadly work commitments mean i'll be missing this one.
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
Joe Selkirk is ye man to warch out for on the undercard.hope they show him .his talent deserves to be seen!
Re: Running Order for Liverpool show - Saturday 16th July!
I think Craig Evans can go very far. The guy has talent. Was talking to him and his trainer in Braehead on the Ricky Burns undercard, both seems top lads. He's a southpaw that throws loads of accurrate punches. To be honest I don't think Warren has any bad fighters.
Av not really seen Selkirk to much. Al keep an eye out.

I love a good 'floater'. Nothing better.
Thanks for the info lads, shame that they couldn't have squeezed Gavin into the live broadcast, hopefully they will at least show some delayed coverage if they get chance, I'm gona stay off here to avoid spoilers!
