Pick your Champion

Post by DougieC30 »

Ok, nice and simple just pick 2 guys who you think will go on to win a British Title. Only rule is they have to have had less than 5 fights.

Al go first and say - Cruiserweight Stephen Simmons he's 2-0, saw him at amatur and also in his pro debut when he stopped the Durible Nick Okoth. Got a good trainer and promoter to steer him towards titles.

Next will be - Craig Evans, young Welsh hopeful is 3-0. I have been lucky enuff to see his 3 pro fights. Also got a the same promoter as Simmons. I know its easy to look good agianst journeymen but this kid does look like he will be a force in a year or 2. He's boxing in Liverpool on Saturday night so I hope I didn't just jinx him haha

LEIGH WOOD

Yet to make his pro debut but is like a super bantamweight version of Carl Froch , former member of team GB elite squad in sheffield as an amateur .

Excellent boxer , remember his name , hes left his amateur gym and i think has now begun training with the Ingles , he should make his debut later this year .

Paul Burlter, 22 currently 2-0. I saw him at the Echo arena for his debut and already has a following as well. Was impressed by him.
