Whoever is in charge of the weights should really take out the 201 pound division. It worked well in 2009, and they actually combined 189, 201 and 201+. I think better competition if it was 189 and 189+, no need for two different champions at 201 and super heavy.

Agree with you. Makes no since having 3 heavyweight divisions (189,201,201+) it splits up the competition. 189 & 189+ would solve that problem.

Yes Chase is my Son! They are all Tuff kids to get this far and I'm just glad Chase was able to make it to National JO's!
He Loves this Sport very Much and has been able to meet some Very Great Fighters i've been lucky enough to now call friends. I'm sure Chase being able to be around all those Boxers and Watching me throughout my Professional Career has Influenced him Alot but I don't remember Loving the sport at his age as much as He does. We only speak about his Amateur career and he has big hopes for 2016 !!! If he gets close and don't make it I wouldn't mind if he stayed amateur another 4 years and went for 2020 !!!!! He would still be Young enough !!! The Main thing with Chase is he is a very smart Young Man with a 4.343 GPA taking advanced classes so His Mom and I said as long as you keep straight A's I would take him to any Boxing tournament he wants to go too !!!!! Chase "Kid Dynamite" Calloway 15yo 145lb 6'0 76 Amateur Bouts....:TU:

I'd say 2020 is a great goal, as is 2016, but nice to stay four more years than just turn pro or retire. :TU:

@Rob Great to hear he wants to stay amateur. Theres too many kids turning pro these days. I have watched Chase fight for years after he fought my kid at Ringside a few years ago. I have watched most of the boxers in this tournament and I believe Chase is Top 5 in purest boxing skills. Nobody in his bracket can beat him if he is it his best. :bag: Best of luck at JOs coach!

I haven't spoke much about the Jr's.

90 - Nico, I wished him and Amery would have met up in the finals, but it was a decent little fight yesterday.
95 - Rahim, he should handle this one pretty easily.
101 - Pablo, but his is a toss up.
106 - Jesus
110 - Malik
114 - Ja'Rico because the way he handled Hector yesterday, didn't think anybody would do that in this division.
119 - Gary Salazar
125 - Gervonta has looked the best
132 - Erickson Lubin, but this is going to be the fight of the day! They are both going to come forward!
138 - Julian Rodriguez
145 - Sticking with Kameron, but I figured it would come down to these two. They look like they are mature enough to box the Senior Open fighters.
154 - Moses, I knew I should have picked Moses at the beginning.
165 - Rincon, figured it would come down to Rincon/Sims.
176 - Toss up, flip a coin, Gomez.
189 - Younan, should be a decent fight between him and Grant though.
201 - Rico
201+ - Rice
