Who would you like next for Audley?

I` d like to see Audley come back to blighty to fight Julius Francis(or whats left after Skelton beats him good), and then fight "the bull of the Bosphurus" Sinan samil san(spell check please)...It would be a tough match up for Aud`s but i believe he would outbox the Turk/German.

Anyone with a pulse would be a nice step up. They don't nessacarily need to be decent boxers.

I'd like to see him fight Keith Long (who I voted for) or Francis, but due to the majority of the fighters mentioned being signed for FW and already busy, I think he is going to conduct his career in the states, where I would expect an Orlin Norris, Imamu Mayfield or Ray Austin type fighter

Hide - exciting while it lasts & it'd be an entertaining build up too.
I really don't think he's as big a threat as some seem to think.
This "new" Hide looks like a mirage to me. He's a shot fighter so lets get it over with, before someone else ( outside of a nightclub ) clobbers him before Audley gets a chance.

As much as i would enjoy seeing him fight a Keith Long type fighter or even a Julius Francis i am afraid it will be another three U.S. journeymen again i would suspect. I doubt he will fight anyone like Ray Austin though more likely a Jo-el Scott or so, and as for Samil Sam well....it think it's a little optimistic to see him take on someone like Sam straight after a Brian Nix calibre fighter.

Hide has gone quiet on the boxing front, anybody knopw what he is doing?

he has only fought once in 7 and a half months and still no mention of another contest. It seems like a half-hearted comeback, especialy after calling out DW then backing out of the fight. Is he finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning in his silk pyjamas?

My thinking about the Sam fight its that Gomez boxed the living shit out of Sam, so surly the Olympic Superheavy champion would have a reasonable chance in doing so?

How come no-one voted for Holyfield?

Most of the fighters you have mentioned are either with allegedly or are fighting soon. I think it will either Hide if he boxes in Britain. If he stays stateside I think Lawrence Clay-Bey, Ray Austin or Jeremy Williams would all be game opponents. I would have mentioned Monte Barret as well but I think he is fighting Dominick Guinn soon.

Gomez and Sam are still a lot more experienced than Audley. I would give Audley a pretty good chance of beating Sam now, but there would be a risk, but then so would my suggestion of Barrett.

I think Harrisons style is well suited to beating guys like Barret and also Mesi. While Mesi packs a punce we saw Barret put serious pressure on him and Mesi didn't seem to have much of an answer. I think if Harrison put that kind of pressure on Mesi Aud would finish him off.

Audley would batter the lot of 'em, as they were parachuting down he would be uppercutting them back up. We should have sent Audley to Iraq he would have sorted them all out by midday and found a cure for cancer in the afternoon, he is like a cross between Mother Theresa and Superman.

Williams - No hes fighting Sprott and now thats hes with Warren even more unlikely.
Greenburg - Never especially as he is considered a prospect and there is nothing to gain from such a match up.
Holyfield - Too much of a risk even if hes on his way out.
Francis - When he loses to Skelton he will have nothing more to offer and should retire.
Skelton - Not in the near future due to his fight with Francis. Otherwise depends if they both have their eyes set on the same belt.
Sprott - Possible though certainly not his next oponent due to Williams rematch.

Saying this I can't honestly think of anyone for him for his next match up. I we talking Izon, Fields, Austin?

I personally would like to see him face the winner of Francis - Skelton. Also i must disagree with costa, i dont think Holyfield would be too much of a risk, he is 120% shot, after 2 rounds he cant do anything apart from take punches, if i was audley, i would love to get the chance to stick Evander on my record.

In all seriousness I'd like to see Audley in with someone I can truly guage him against. Therefore a genuine live heavyweight that:
-I've heard of,
-has in excess of 15 fights,
-has an 85%+ winning record,
and
-has plenty of remaining ambition would get my approval.

Holyfield is entirely shot and has nothing left to become other than a high class gatekeeper. Harrison would dispose of him in 5 in his current state, however i can see Harrison fighting three more journeymen stateside in his next fights, i would like to see Clay-Bey in there but it is a risk for Audley and he doesn't enjoy live opponents too much.

I don't understand why people see Keith Long as a suitable opponent for Audley. Do you honestly think he'd give harrison a competitive fight? The difference in reach alone is the equivalent of the distance to John O' Groats, wherever you're typing from.

Audley would jab Long silly and destroy him in a gruesome one sided beating. With Audley's improved flashy skills and finishing power, Long wouldn't last much longer than the last few did. also i think long is ranked about 100 places below Audley's last opponent.

Those of you who say he needs to fight a Ray Austin, Cley Bey are right. a tough, semi competitive american for a proper test. Not a tough, totally limited punching bag.

This guy Audley etting any younger he needs to make a move pretty soon,y his 15th fight Lennox Lewis was knocking out ranked conteders f the other undefeated prospects..needs to happen as soon as possible..
