Whats happening with khan v bradley?
Fed up with khan of late fair enough made light work of judah but he is blatantly ducking bradley using lame arse excuses i dont see whyi'd give him a fair shot its a good payday and would win him alot of respect from fans like me who feel he is picking the easy route while saying his got nothing to prove

Bradleys ducked khan its common knowledge even bradley admits its him that wont take the fight.
Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
he was only offered 300,000 dollars more for khan to be his next opponent when he already has a deal with his promoter for 1.2 million to fight any other of his rivals thats why the fight wasnt taken THATS common knowlegde ,amir khan believes he holds the purse strings based on what a shit fight with mcloskey a ref aided win over maidana and a mis match against judah although he did look good in that fight bradley is a real test and if he wants to clean up at 140 he must fight him or it will blot his copy in IMO he is dissapering up his own arse and its sad to watch . I wont fight brook not because he isnt on my level nut because he is promoted by match room ...please
Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
More like everyone one in the industry predicted Bradley was leaving Gary Shaw Promotions as far back as February and low and behold, around 8 weeks before his deal expires with Shaw, Team Khan throw in an offer for Bradley to fight him, who naturally won't sign it as he'll automatically trigger an extension to his current deal.
Cue "Bradley is a chicken" and "we wont offer him the fight again."
F*ck off.
The guy was on a plane coming to England to fight a then-dangerous Witter for the WBC title in his backyard, whilst Amir Khan was getting smoked by Breidis Prescott.
Bradley fought WBO champ Kendall Holt to unify , then 27-0 unbeaten Anthony Peterson, then unbeaten Argentinian puncher Abregu at Welterweight - and then another unification fight with Devon Alexander (another high flying and unbeaten fighter).
Compare with Salita (shocking) Malignaggi (cant crack an egg, nor beat N'dou) , almost stopped by Maidana, then McCloskey who made him look awful without throwing a punch and then a shell of Zab Judah.
Nobody on planet earth should think for a moment that Bradley is scared of Khan, because he's proven far more already.

Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
How much money do you think this fight is worth? bradley v alexander couldnt even pull in a crowd of 9 thousand. The money you have mentioned as its been stated publicly is a 50/50 split, what do you want khan to do give bradley his half as well?TJ77 wrote:he was only offered 300,000 dollars more for khan to be his next opponent when he already has a deal with his promoter for 1.2 million to fight any other of his rivals thats why the fight wasnt taken THATS common knowlegde ,amir khan believes he holds the purse strings based on what a shit fight with mcloskey a ref aided win over maidana and a mis match against judah although he did look good in that fight bradley is a real test and if he wants to clean up at 140 he must fight him or it will blot his copy in IMO he is dissapering up his own arse and its sad to watch . The crowd was around 3 thousand and it was well acknowleged that HBO had paid well over the odds for the match. Khan is the attraction in this fight, Bradley is only known in the trade.kingfinn wrote:How much money do you think this fight is worth? bradley v alexander couldnt even pull in a crowd of 9 thousand. Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
It is little wonder team khan came up with such a shitty way of making it look like bradley was scared and sighting his greed and fear as the reason it didnt happen when his supporters rather than see him fight the best allow him to dodge fights sighting finances no sorry defend him for doing so what a crock of shit bradley isnt known outside the sport (in britain) he had just come off the back off the convincing win over his as everyone believed his toughest rival if those who buy into it fair do's but your just getting cheated like the rest of us

Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
Yeah, anybody who really believes Bradley scared of Khan is delusional, Khan being the prime example. Khan claimed Mayweather will duck him!! Khan has a manufactured resume and now claim’s he wants to fight Morales, says it all really. He ducked everybody wanting to fight him (Peterson, Prescott, Murray, Brook) and went for McCloskey.G0mez wrote:More like everyone one in the industry predicted Bradley was leaving Gary Shaw Promotions as far back as February and low and behold, around 8 weeks before his deal expires with Shaw, Team Khan throw in an offer for Bradley to fight him, who naturally won't sign it as he'll automatically trigger an extension to his current deal.

I used to like Khan, although his head is firmly up his arse, his team are morons and amateurish. He will have a fall someday, karma bites back. Since the liberty over Barrera he is has lost my respect.

Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
What a surprise on this site...more negativity towards one of Britain's best boxers.
Friday Night Fights interviewed Atlas and Rafael about Khan after the Judah fight. Rafael said that Bradley had turned down a massive offer to fight Khan. Coachman also said the same. Atlas described him as being beatable, but the best in the division. All of them described Khan as 'the money in the 140lb division'.
Ring magazine have him rated at #1
1. Khan
2. Bradley - Bradley turned down the fight
3. Maidana - Khan beat him in a FOTY
4. Alexander - Moving up to 147 and didn't look good recently
5. Kotelnik - Khan already beat him
So from the the other top four in the division, Khan has beaten two of them and offered to fight one of the others.
I'm certainly not a Khan fanboy (I thought Atlas' critique was accurate when he said that he is beatable) but the criticism he gets on here is laughable.

Can’t believe you’re as naïve about claiming Brook won’t go near Pacquiao! Pacquiao picks his fights, Brook although being his mandatory would not be near a ring with Manny blaming that on Brook is silly. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Bradley turned the fight down. It's as simple as that whatever the financial situation is. And If you know the situation with the money, and that Bradley turned Khan down how can you say originally that Khan is ducking Bradley? As for the 'mismatch' that was Judah, Judah held a version of the title and I find it refreshing that we have a fighter trying to get the belts together rather than just sitting at home defending it against nobodies. And why on earth should Khan fight Brook? Is this the same Brook that sat as the number one challenger for the WBO because it's held by Manny? If you're not prepared to go after the champ you shouldn't be ranked number one, funniest thing is, Pac would probably have given the belt up instead of wasting his time with Brook.
Khan is going to move up, lets see who his first fights are against. He fancies fighting Mayweather, deary me. Khan has talent although his mouth spouts some shite……this is undeniable.

Bradley’s resume at 140 is far better than Khan’s by the way......
Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
its not negativity for the sake of it one of britains best boxer's has forgotten his british and is playing at being a US superstar of boxing dodging credible opponents and calling out the true Us super star who.he.knows will make him look ridiculous but the casual will believe he is in with a chance Que big payday and I tried my best he was just too good on the night speech and then back to blighty cos we love a trier who fails difference being we have a genuine example of that with hatton and he stayed true to the isle of his birth and the fans that gave him the oppurtunities.wizwiz wrote:What a surprise on this site...more negativity towards one of Britain's best boxers.

Bradley has mentioned moving upto 147 after being stripped.

Khan couldn’t get a fight because he wouldn’t pay reasonable money to fight Peterson this is well documented. Everybody from Murray – Prescott wanted the fight. Brook said if he’s struggling to find an opponent I will fight him.
Khan started the war of words on Twitter recently with Brook, slating him for his performance against N’Dou. Brook replied regarding Khan’s chin or similar.
When you look into the fundamentals of Team Khan you will soon see they are numptees. Sadly this is rubbing of on Amir and IMO he is turning into a complete clown and a bigmouth.

He was the mandatory challenger for Pacquiao doesn’t mean he gets the fight! Pacquiao, Roach and Arum choose his opponents. That is what comes with being a super star. Brook didn’t deserve to be Manny’s mandatory anyway. The Dark Destroyer wrote:If he's the number one challenger he should be going after the belt. Everybody is weaker than Pacquiao other than Floyd IMO.
Just for the record Brook wants to fight Khan when he moves up to 147. He flung his name into the hat knowing it wouldn’t happen when Khan was involved in discussions with McCloskey.
Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
Khan gets grief for wanting to fight FMJ. He gets grief for fighting duds like mccloskey. Can't win.

Ffs, Brook wants to fight Khan when he moves up to 147 just the same way Khan wants to fight Mayweather. I don't think he deserves to be Pac's number one challenger either, but he was. Was a mandatory ever called? I don't think it was. I only brought him up because the OP suggested him as an opponent for Khan after berating Khan for ducking a fight he didn't duck and never mentioning him not trying to fight for the title he's rated number one for.
I don’t think the fight will happen anyway, simply because the contempt between Matchroom and Team Khan. Hopefully we a can put this behind us....
Re: Whats happening with khan v bradley?
I don’t know what his new comments are about, possibly because the fight is being mentioned as a possibility when Khan moves up. I believe it would be a good fight for both fighters more so for Khan if he can beat Brook. The Dark Destroyer wrote:What on earth are you on about?zero wrote:Ffs, Brook wants to fight Khan when he moves up to 147 just the same way Khan wants to fight Mayweather. You said his initial comments about Khan were a response to Khan's tweets, I was asking what his new comments are about. I haven't criticised Brook for calling Khan out, I've criticised him for not calling out fighters in his own division.![]()
As for Mayweather, Khan hasn't called him out, he's said he'll be ready to fight him in twelve months time.
Brook does deserve criticism because his career has/is going very slowly, although I do not believe he deserves it for not chasing a (Pacquiao) fight that was never going to happen!
Regarding Mayweather, for someone who will not be (Khan) ready for another year he can’t stop mentioning it every time he opens his mouth. This story with quotes takes the biscuit…..
