He was head coach at an amateur boxing club few years back and had few Irish and Ulster champions. Very under rated fighter in his day. He fought some of the best light heavy's around the mid 90's, Michalczweski, Tiozzo, Piper, Delaney,Tony Wilson. And as an amateur he beat Steve Collins twice at senior level.
