Some people never learn from the mistakes of others. Former Australian Light Heavyweight Champion and (up until the weekend) Member for Clarence in the New South Wales Parliament Steve Cansdell must have been asleep when former judge Marcus Einfeld fell afoul of the law.

Cansdell was caught by a speed camera running up the last of his demerit points, so he submitted a false statutory declaration to say somebody else was driving the car. He is now being investigated for fraud. Gives old pugs a bad name. :shame:

The irony is that Cansdell, was the parliamentary secretary for police and must have considered himself "above the law".

A term in the big-house, like Marcus Einfeld enjoyed, is recommended.

You and I both know that won't happen. He'll be looked after.
