there was interview with Esham last night in the local paper, he said he's dropping the British title and he badly wants to defend his new title in Nottingham!

Good work Pocket, I still see that Esham is looking at Hunter followed by McCullough. He's now got a very prestigious belt and he should be in the World's independent top ten on the back of such a win.

This is the fight Wayne needs NOW, Pickering should be gunning for McCullough if he fails, then he should change his focus back to Hunter. If he loses against Wayne, then he should realise in his heart of hearts that a world title is just beyond him, but the Hunter fight will be a good finicial consolotation and one that would bring him back to a similar level to where he is now, if he wins.

This devision is really hotting up thanks to Esham's impressive win, the gap between him and Wayne has closed considerably.

I think Esham feels he needs to get himself a better name before Wayne will fight him. Even though Wayne would see the ranking, the money wouldnt be anything special until Pickering proves himself more than a belt holder..

Its a fight for the future, Esham however needs a few more defences..remember Waynes attractive to USTV, he may be able to get a title shot anyway, it has to be worth his while...

Fair points, its just I think Hunter is a very risky fight with little reward - maybe some decent Europeans before Wayne. Even if he loses to the Europeans he can always go back to the domestic market. Losing to Hunter (and its 50:50 in my book) and his options are limited.
