Is he going to be any good though, or is this just going to be a painfull watch of a once great boxer?

I loved to watch him box before all his troubles, but worried he might not have it any more.

From my knowledge of boxing contracts, i wouldn't necessarily presume that it would be that simple. I'm not saying you're wrong but i believe some promoters retain the right to unilaterally assign contracts to other bodies corporate ...

It would defo have lapsed by now, and in the odd event it hasn't then he would have good grounds to sign with someone else.
