Who is Britain's (one) Greatest boxer
Who is Britain's (one) Greatest boxer
Who is Britain's (one) Greatest boxer, and I mean Greatest!
Fighters with overall 'proven' careers where they stayed on top, not necessarily Champions but "consistently" excellent!!
And after a general consences the best at each of the 8 basic weights, Top 3 say, and then in each of UK's four countries Eng. Scot. Wales and Ireland, say Top 6!
So (?) who are Britain's BEST!!!
Thanks, Jim.

"Great" Britain
Ok for what it's worth, starting with the 'wee' men...
Jimmy Wilde
Benny Lynch, (Peter Kane, Elky Clarke, Walter McGowan, Jackie Brown)
Peter Keenan, Jim Brady
Nel Tarlton, Eric Boon
Ken Buchanan, Arthur Danahar
Ted 'kid' Lewis, Ernie Roderick
Now the "BIG-MEN"(middleweights P4P the best in general) this crop stands alone with Jimmy Wilde, Ted 'kid' Lewis and Len Harvey.
Jock McAvoy, Bert Gilroy, Nigel Ben, Terry Downs and for my money Michael Watson (a Beautiful boxer)
Len Harvey
Tommy Farr, Henry Cooper, Bruce Woodcock and DonCockell
Some thoughts lets get the "ball rolling",
Jim.
